Terms of service
Last updated 2 October 2026
These terms apply when you use surefer.co.uk, whether you’re visiting to find a referral or you’ve joined to share your own. Section 9 covers paid membership. Please read them with our privacy notice, which explains how we use personal data.
1. Who we are
Surefer is a trading name of Stockulate Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15893175. Our registered office is 12 Lansbury Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, NG17 5DL, United Kingdom. You can contact us at hello@surefer.co.uk. “We”, “us” and “our” mean Stockulate Ltd.
2. What Surefer does, and what it doesn’t
- Surefer is a directory of UK brand referral programmes. We read each programme’s terms before listing it and show the reward, conditions and spend so you can compare them.
- When you ask for a referral, we give you one member’s referral link or code for the programme you chose. The member is chosen by a published rotation, explained on How the rotation works.
- Brands run their own programmes. The brand decides who qualifies, pays any reward and can change or end its programme at any time. We don’t pay rewards and can’t guarantee you or a member will get one.
- We aren’t affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by the brands we list. Brand names identify the programme only.
- We don’t give financial or other advice. Check that a product suits you and read the brand’s own terms before you sign up.
- We don’t list credit (including credit cards, loans and buy now pay later), investments, pensions, cryptoassets, insurance, gambling, prescription medicines or alcohol. If we list bank or savings accounts, each listing shows the provider’s regulator and deposit protection details.
3. Using Surefer as a visitor
You don’t need an account to browse or get a referral, and it’s free. Use Surefer for your own personal use. We work hard to keep offer details accurate, but brands change their terms, sometimes without notice. If our summary and the brand’s terms differ, the brand’s terms apply. If you spot a problem, use “Report a problem” on the referral page.
4. Member accounts
- You must be 18 or over and live in the UK to create an account.
- One account per person. Give a real email address you can access, and keep your password secure.
- Your display name is shown to visitors who receive your referral. Use a first name or nickname, not your full name, and don’t choose a name that’s offensive, misleading or impersonates someone else.
- You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
5. Adding your referral
- You can add one referral per programme, and only to programmes we’ve approved.
- It must be your own personal referral link or code, issued to you by the brand. Don’t add someone else’s, and don’t add affiliate or tracking links.
- You must follow the brand’s referral terms. We only list programmes whose terms allowed public sharing when we checked, but brands change their terms and it’s your responsibility to keep to the current version. A brand may refuse or take back your reward if you break its terms; we aren’t responsible for that.
- We review referrals before they go live and may reject, pause or remove one that breaks these terms or the brand’s terms, stops working, or is reported. If we reject or remove a referral, we’ll tell you why.
- You give us permission to store, display and share your referral and display name for running Surefer. This ends when you remove the referral or close your account, apart from the records we keep as described in the privacy notice.
6. What you must not do
- Create more than one account, or use scripts, bots or fake requests to gain turns in the rotation.
- Request your own referral, or ask others to request it, to inflate your figures.
- Add links that are misleading, unsafe or unlawful, or that lead anywhere other than the brand’s own site.
- Use Surefer to promote regulated financial products, scams or anything illegal, or to send unsolicited marketing.
- Scrape, copy or resell Surefer’s content, or interfere with the site’s security or operation.
7. How referrals are shared
For each programme, approved and active referrals share turns in a rotation. Each member gets turns in proportion to their weight: currently 1 for a free member and 3 for a paid member. No chance is involved, and membership never changes which offers visitors see or their order. A larger share of the rotation isn’t a guarantee of visitors, sign-ups or rewards: that depends on visitors and on the brand. We publish the current weights and every change on How the rotation works. Changes apply only to future referrals.
8. Paid membership is optional
A free account lets you add referrals to any approved programme. Paid membership is a monthly subscription that gives your referrals a larger share of the rotation and more reporting. The rest of these terms apply to free and paid members alike.
9. Paid membership
What you get
- A weight of 3 instead of 1 in the rotation, on every programme where paid weighting applies.
- Some brands don’t allow paid promotion of referral links. On those programmes every member has equal weight, paid or not, and the offer page says so.
- More detailed reporting in your dashboard.
- It doesn’t guarantee any number of visitors, sign-ups or rewards.
Who can subscribe
Paid membership is available to members aged 18 or over who live in the UK and pay with a UK billing address.
Price and payment
- The price is shown on the pricing page and at checkout before you pay. It’s in pounds sterling and charged monthly.
- Stockulate Ltd isn’t registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
- Payments are taken by our payment provider, Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
How to subscribe
- Sign in and choose Upgrade on the pricing page.
- Check the price and billing details at checkout. You can go back and change them before you pay.
- Confirm and pay. Your contract with us starts when your payment is accepted.
These terms are in English and always available on this page. We email you a confirmation and a receipt after you subscribe.
Renewal
Your membership renews automatically every month on the same date, and we take payment each time, until you cancel.
Your right to cancel and refunds
- When you subscribe, you ask us to start your paid membership straight away.
- 14-day money-back guarantee: if you cancel within 14 days of the day you first subscribe, we’ll refund that first payment in full.
- If you’ve had paid membership before and subscribe again, you can still cancel within 14 days of the new subscription. We’ll refund the payment minus an amount for the days you’ve had paid membership, as the law allows.
- We refund to the card you paid with, within 14 days of your cancellation.
- After the first 14 days, you can cancel at any time. Your paid benefits continue until the end of the month you’ve paid for, then your account returns to free. We don’t give partial refunds for the rest of that month.
How to cancel
Choose Manage billing in your dashboard and cancel there. You can also email us at hello@surefer.co.uk saying you want to cancel; you can use the form at the end of these terms, but you don’t have to.
Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will try again over the following days. If it still can’t be taken, your account returns to free when your paid period ends.
Changes to price or benefits
We may change the price or the paid weight. We’ll email you at least 30 days before a change affects you. If you don’t want to continue, you can cancel before it takes effect.
If membership ends early
- If we stop offering paid membership or close Surefer, we’ll refund the unused part of your current month.
- If we close your account because you seriously or repeatedly broke these terms, we’ll cancel your subscription and won’t refund the current month.
10. Reporting content, moderation and appeals
- Anyone can report a referral using “Report a problem” on the referral page, or by emailing hello@surefer.co.uk. Tell us if you think something is illegal, fraudulent, misleading or breaks a brand’s terms.
- We review reports promptly. We remove content we find to be illegal, and may pause or remove content that breaks these terms while we look into it.
- We protect visitors from illegal content mainly by approving every programme and reviewing every referral before it goes live, checking destinations against each brand’s own website, and acting on reports.
- If we remove your referral or suspend your account, we’ll tell you why. You can appeal by emailing hello@surefer.co.uk within 30 days. Someone who wasn’t involved in the original decision will review it where possible, and we aim to reply within 14 days.
11. Suspending or closing accounts
- We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if we’re required to by law, or to protect visitors, members or brands. Where it’s safe to, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
- You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@surefer.co.uk from the address on your account. We’ll cancel any subscription and delete your account as described in the privacy notice.
12. Brand names and our content
Brand names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used only to identify their referral programmes. Surefer’s own name, logo, design and offer summaries belong to us. You may link to Surefer, but don’t copy our content in bulk.
13. Our responsibility to you
- We provide Surefer with reasonable care and skill. If we don’t, we’re responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our failure.
- We aren’t responsible for brands: whether they pay a reward, how they treat you, or their products. We also aren’t responsible for loss caused by things outside our reasonable control.
- Surefer is for personal use, so we aren’t responsible for any business losses.
- Apart from the cases below, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of £100 and what you’ve paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit. Nothing affects your legal rights as a consumer. For advice about your rights, contact Citizens Advice.
14. Changes to Surefer and these terms
We may update Surefer and these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in how the service works. We’ll email members at least 30 days before a change that affects them significantly. If you don’t agree, you can close your account before the change takes effect and, if you’re a paid member, we’ll refund the unused part of your current month.
15. Complaints
If you’re unhappy, please tell us. Our complaints page explains how we handle complaints, including complaints about personal data.
16. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.
