Within 28 days of the new customer's supply start date (terms); the referral page says within 30 days of going on supply.
Conditions
  • UK residents aged 18 or over with a residential address in mainland UK (not Northern Ireland, Isle of Man or Channel Islands) applying for electricity and/or gas. Referee must not have switched to Ecotricity for another offer and then left within the previous 12 months; not available to Ecotricity employees. Referrer must be an Ecotricity domestic supply customer. You get: £25 account credit (Green Variable Tariff) or £10 (Fixed or Pay As You Go tariff; Pay As You Go customers get a John Lewis voucher of the same value). The member gets: Same as the new customer: £25 account credit, or £10 on a Fixed or Pay As You Go tariff (John Lewis voucher if on Pay As You Go).
  • Switch to an eligible Ecotricity tariff (Green Variable, Fixed or Pay As You Go) using the referrer's unique link or code, or by phoning 0808 123 0 123 and quoting the code. The switch must not be cancelled within 14 days, and neither party may be claiming another offer alongside it.
  • Open-ended: runs from 19 February 2026 until an end date published at ecotricity.co.uk/refer-a-friend; referrals received before the end date are honoured. No end date shown on 2 October 2026.
